OUR DAHLIA FIELD WILL OPEN FROM WEDNESDAY 13th AUGUST UNTIL 4.00PM 13TH OCTOBER 2025
Due to the extreme heat we are experiencing we would advise a visit end of August- September to see the field at its best
Our Dahlia field is situated at the nursery and is open from 14th August until 4.00pm 8TH October,
this depends
on when the first frosts arrive. We are happy for you to contact us before you travel to make sure that the field is still open.
The field has grass pathways which leads you through our dahlias, every size shape and colour. This gives you a great chance to see how each variety grows. Also on view will be our new seedlings.
The field is open the same time as the nursery,
HOWEVER THE FIELD WILL BE CLOSED 30 MINUTES BEFORE THE NURSERY CLOSES. (We are sorry if you turn up late or have been stuck in traffic, but the field does need to close at this time)
There is a slight incline to the field and grass pathways, (please note this is a field so we cannot guarantee that all pathways are level ) There is seating situated around the field or the dahlias can be viewed from our Tearoom or tea garden.
Well behaved children and dogs
are welcome as long as they are kept on a short lead, and that includes the children.
The picking of flowers is prohibited however bunches of dahlias are available to purchase on most days weather permitting.
Bunches of dahlias can be pre-ordered either by phone or email.
